Our first E-learning course
This free e-learning course is designed for those working in schools to think, feel and do safeguarding differently when addressing violence and abuse between students. The course will equip you to:
- Think differently about the issue of violence and abuse by learning about key ideas: Contextual Safeguarding, Cultural Sensitivity, structural and interpersonal violence and zero tolerance.
- Take time to reflect on your practice, provoking opportunities to feel differently about safeguarding systems.
- Have time to apply a range of resources and tools directly so you can do safeguarding differently.
The course was developed from research undertaken by the Global Centre for Contextual Safeguarding at Durham University in collaboration with Power the Fight. The focus is on UK schools but has international applicability.
