The GCCS Advisory Panel is a key part of the centre's external governance structure, providing strategic advice, independent challenge and external insight to support the centre's development and impact.
The panel brings together networks and working groups spanning policy, regulation, practice, research and funding. Through these connections, it helps share learning, identify emerging opportunities, and challenges and strengthens collaboration across sectors and international contexts.
By connecting representatives from these communities, the advisory panel provides a forum to:
- Identify strategic opportunities and challenges across policy, practice, research and funding
- Explore how emerging GCCS evidence can support implementation, influence policy, and drive systems change
- Strengthen partnerships and collaboration across sectors and countries
- Share learning and insights among stakeholders connected to the GCCS mission and work programme
- Advance the impact of Contextual Safeguarding research, policy, and practice
This structure ensures that the centre's work is informed by diverse perspectives while creating opportunities for evidence to shape policy, practice and organisational change.
