The revised statutory guidance ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children’ was published this week and is out for consultation. The Contextual Safeguarding team are delighted to see that the revised version includes a chapter on Contextual Safeguarding, and urge members of the network to respond to the consultation. In this blog, Jenny Lloyd (The International Centre: Researching child sexual exploitation, violence and trafficking) reflects on the importance of this step and it's implications for practice, as well as flagging key resources available via the Contextual Safeguarding Network that can support practitioners to respond to the consultation.

Only members of the Contextual Safeguarding Network may access the resources on this page.
